The house "La Source" is situated in a small farming community, surrounded by open countryside and ancient forests, with many Burgundian attractions nearby, its position is ideal for visiting; Flavigny-Sur-Ozerain (famous as the setting for the film 'Chocolat') Alise St. Reine (highest point in Burgundy) Abbey De Fontenay (a world heritage site) Vezeley, Dijon, Beaune, and of course our own village's attraction; the source of the River Seine. For those of you that love the outdoors and nature, you could easily spend much of your time walking, mountain biking, or running around the village and surrounding area, the views are wonderful and wildlife abound. For those interested in wine, some of the world's most famous vineyards are easily accessible, and many lesser known but equally appealing Domaines are keen to welcome you and share the fruits of their labours with you. There are a number of local markets where you can buy fresh local produce, and these are held on various days during the week.
