The Gardener’s Cottage is the ideal base for a family vacation in Burgundy. It is part of a 13th century French Chateau with a long history. Guests are welcome to use the grounds at will.

The Gardener's Cottage combines antiques with modern amenities to create an extremely comfortable, luxurious atmosphere. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and all appliances including washer and dryer, a dining area, a well-appointed living room with satellite TV, DVD and stereo unit with a selection of DVDs, CDs and English-language books, three bedrooms (two with Queen-size beds, one with two twins which can put together and converted into a Queen-size upon request) and two bathrooms with shower one on each floor. The downstairs bathroom is up two steps from the living room.
Four bicycles are also provided for guests, and we can generally lend extra bikes or children's bikes, if necessary. Barbecue available.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are provided with luxury linens and towels, duvets, and US-style down and hollowfill pillows. Top quality soaps are provided, and the downstairs bathroom has a heated towel rack for the true hedonist. We will provide a portable air conditioner in the event of a heat wave, but fans are generally sufficient. In addition, to large windows, the two upstairs bedrooms have Velux skylights for additional light. Each bedroom has electric fans and there is a portable air-conditioner available.
Heating is provided by mounted electric convection units.
The house sleeps six comfortably. A private back garden with a "wishing well" and teak garden furniture offers a pleasant place for outdoor reading, evening drinks, or dining.
