Situated on the banks of the Canal de Nivernais and Yonne river this comfortable holiday cottage is set on the scenic and peaceful outskirts of the historical medieval market town of Clamecy. This lively town has a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and a poular Saturday market.
Just 2 hours from Paris and 5 hours from Calais and with easy access from the A6 motorway at Auxerre the property provides an ideal base to explore the Burgundy countryside, being ideally located to visit towns such as Vezelay, Chablis, Auxerre or even the wine villages of the Loire Valley such as Sancerre.
The property can sleep 4 people and is comfortably furnished and well appointed, the large gardens are fully enclosed and have great views accross the canal.
Mountain bikes for 2 adults are provided to make the most of the tow path cycle rides along with a good selection of other entertainment including gardens games and a library of DVD's etc.
Prices start at £100 Per week December to March or £75 for a short break which is ideal for that long weekend of house hunting. All prices include heating, electricity, bed linen and towels.
